A retrospective programme of music videos and archive footage from Bristol’s underground music scene. This retrospective of music videos and archive footage celebrates and explores Bristol’s rich cultural and musical past, where many artists and groups used moving image in new and innovative ways to accompany their tracks, before producing music videos became the norm. From rare footage to more contemporary champions of Bristol’s music scene, this selection of films offers a glimpse into the musical journey of this vibrant, ever changing city, and celebrates both those well-known acts and some of the unsung heroes of this evolving, influential and inspiring music scene.

This programme celebrated Bristol's musical heritage through its underground music video scene, aiming to preserve and interpret early innovative uses of moving images by local artists.Thompson collaborated with key figures like DJ Krust and Steve Haley from Vision  Factory  to access archival material.
